JPA Health Hires Kate Paxton as SVP

Washington, D.C., January 28, 2020 – JPA Health, a full-service, wholly integrated health communications firm, announced today the addition of Kate Paxton to the Washington, D.C. office as a senior vice president (SVP). Paxton holds over 20 years of experience managing successful global and regional health communications campaigns.

In her role at the firm, Paxton will leverage her expertise in FDA/EMA communications, patient and physician education, scientific communications, issues management and celebrity engagement to serve JPA clients. She will report to Michael O’Brien, managing director of the D.C. office.

At Ketchum, Paxton most recently held the roles of Managing Director, London Health, SVP of Washington, D.C. Health, and SVP. Campaigns she has led have won a Silver Anvil from the Public Relations Society of America for B2B Product Marketing and been recognized by PR Week for the Healthcare Campaign of the Year and first runner up for Overall PR Campaign of the Year. During her tenure at Ketchum, Paxton also worked with a major pharma company on a global campaign which was implemented in over 40 markets.
