AARP Recognizes JPA as a Supplier of the Year

 In PR Strategy

On November 15, 2017, JPA Health Communications was recognized at AARP’s 2nd Annual Supplier Diversity Awards & Recognition Program as Supplier of the Year. AARP bestowed the award to JPA as an outstanding vendor that addresses AARP’s business needs, adds value and perspective, and lives out AARP’s mission of championing positive social change.

We’re proud to embody AARP’s mission to champion positive social change and diversity in our own workplace. JPA is a midsize, woman-owned public relations firm focused solely on healthcare — which is a pervasive sector affecting everyone regardless of race, gender, religion or socioeconomic status. When JPA was founded a decade ago, it was a purposeful decision to work solely within this sector. And each day, we feel fortunate to play a role in helping people live heathier lives through our awareness and engagement work. This is why each of us come to work every day.

At JPA, we’re driven by a deep desire to contribute to society, to scientific advancement, to human development. In short, to contribute to the greater good.  We are driven to understand the “why” for our clients and our work.

The “why” informing our work with AARP is an overarching goal to educate AARP members about their healthcare coverage options and help make the Member Advantages Health Co-Op’s offerings more engaging and accessible. We aimed to drive informed healthcare decision-making to help make the health insurance landscape a little easier to navigate for AARP members, their family members and even caregivers.

We’re grateful to receive this recognition as a Supplier of the Year, and proud to echo AARP’s continued commitment to diversity and social change.
