Ensuring People with Disabilities Have Equal Access
JPA reduced the legal liability and improved the user experience for all users including those with disabilities for a large healthcare company through accessibility training and expert accessibility audits to meet both the Section 508 and W3C WCAG 2.0 guidelines.
Comprehensive reports were prepared for each of the 28 application reviewed that included information about the compliance and severity of the application’s accessibility issues according to Section 508 and W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, as well as suggestions for fixing the issues. With JPA’s assistance, they are actively remediating their applications to ensure compliance with accessibility guidelines to allow online access for all users while reducing their legal liability.
