Carrie Jones

Carrie Jones, Principal, Managing Director

Carrie Jones is a seasoned communications specialist with considerable experience in women’s health, oncology and chronic disease management. Over the course of her career, she has developed numerous initiatives for pharmaceutical and non-profit clients in the areas of advocacy, consumer education, policy, product support and launch, image development and media relations.

Ken Deutsch, Executive Vice President

Ken Deutsch leads the Cambridge, Mass., office and heads the digital and social media practice. A seasoned public affairs strategist and issue campaign manager, Ken has been implementing digital strategies over the last 20 years. Ken’s tenure in this space puts him at the forefront of digital public affairs.

Valerie Carter, Senior Vice President

Valerie Carter brings more than 25 years of experience in public affairs, government relations, advocacy and communications to JPA, where she leads the London office. A veteran on the pharmaceutical industry, Valerie has worked in for-profit, not-for-profit and consulting organizations within the healthcare and government landscape and provides international expertise to our communications, public affairs and advocacy projects.

Berna Diehl

Berna Diehl, Senior Vice President

Berna Diehl brings nearly two decades of communications experience to JPA, specializing in healthcare communications and strategic media relations. Berna has spent time in both the agency and non-profit setting, and has provided support to organizations in various arenas, including cardiovascular health, aging, women’s health and the pharmaceutical industry.

Hampton Shaddock, Senior Vice President

Hampton Shaddock is a veteran communications expert with notable experience in therapeutic areas including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, oncology and adult and childhood immunizations. Throughout his career, he has developed and implemented public health, media relations and advocacy campaigns for pharmaceutical, nonprofit and government clients.

Specializing in creating and implementing multi-faceted communication plans that contribute to an organization’s overall strategic goals, Catherine Brady brings nearly 15 years of strategic communications experience to JPA.

Jeff Goldfarb

Jeff Goldfarb, Vice President

Jeff Goldfarb brings 20 years of communications, marketing, and branding experience to JPA. For the last 15 years, he has specialized in the healthcare industry working with pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies, as well as designing and implementing initiatives for government clients including the National Institutes of Health and the Food and Drug Administration. Jeff’s experience also includes award-winning marketing campaigns for Claritin and Glucophage.

Andrea Still Gray, Account Director

As a part of the team leading the integration of digital and social media communications strategies at JPA, Andrea Still Gray draws on nearly 20 years of communications experience in a broad range of disciplines. Andrea’s area of expertise lies in developing information architecture and optimizing content that drives and enhances user experience and interaction.
