Carrie Jones is a seasoned communications specialist with considerable experience in women’s health, oncology and chronic disease management. Over the course of her career, she has developed numerous initiatives for pharmaceutical and non-profit clients in the areas of advocacy, consumer education, policy, product support and launch, image development and media relations.
Berna Diehl brings nearly two decades of communications experience to JPA, specializing in healthcare communications and strategic media relations. Berna has spent time in both the agency and non-profit setting, and has provided support to organizations in various arenas, including cardiovascular health, aging, women’s health and the pharmaceutical industry.
Ken Deutsch leads the Cambridge, Mass., office and heads the digital and social media practice. A seasoned public affairs strategist and issue campaign manager, Ken has been implementing digital strategies over the last 20 years. Ken’s tenure in this space puts him at the forefront of digital public affairs.
Valerie Carter brings over 20 years of experience in public affairs, government relations, advocacy and communications to JPA, where she leads the health policy practice. Valerie has worked in for-profit, not-for-profit and consulting organizations within the healthcare and government landscape and provides both U.S. and international expertise to our public affairs projects.
With more than 10 years of healthcare communications, advocacy and media relations experience, Dana Conti serves as vice president in JPA’s Cambridge, Mass., office. Having worked with some of the largest healthcare companies and most innovative start-ups, Dana brings a deep understanding of healthcare issues, market dynamics and companies in the biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostic and healthcare IT industries.
As a part of the team leading the integration of digital and social media communications strategies at JPA, Andrea Still Gray draws on nearly 20 years of communications experience in a broad range of disciplines. Andrea’s area of expertise lies in developing information architecture and optimizing content that drives and enhances user experience and interaction.
Tracy Gurrisi is a dedicated communications professional with significant experience running a broad range of healthcare campaigns from cervical cancer advocacy to healthcare reform education. She digs deep into client issues to develop integrated plans and become an extension of her client’s internal communications and marketing teams.
Kelly Butterworth has been working in healthcare advocacy relations for more than 10 years and is currently the Account Director in charge of serving JPA’s European advocacy needs. Kelly’s specialty in designing and implementing partnership strategies benefits JPA’s industry and advocacy contacts as well as patient communities.
Carly Whiteside is a dynamic communications professional with experience managing advocacy and grassroots patient awareness programs, as well as crafting health policy communications and media campaigns. At JPA, Carly utilizes her expertise to execute a variety of advocacy communications programs and initiatives for her clients.
